Job Description

One of Australia’s iconic institutions is seeking the assistance of a change analyst with an organisation design focus to support the design and development of new Operating Model options.  Reporting to the Head of Change Management, you will support the assessment of current/future state organisation and role changes and impacts along with the implementation of change management strategies and plans. You will provide assistance in running and coordinating change workshops, analyse information and provide insights to support business decisions, including capability requirements and organisation design.

As the Change Analyst you will:

  • Conduct change analysis and change impact assessments and develop and support the delivery of effective change plans and change reporting.
  • Undertake current and future state gap analyses and assess changes and impacts to ensure that transformation strategy and transition planning meet program objectives.
  • Document change impact assessment outcomes to determine the scale of change and associated business readiness activities required for successful change.
  • Provide the analytics and intelligence to validate and guide the change approach and to provide key measurement analytics for the change impacts and effort.
  • Support the alignment of change, organisation design and training activities to operating environment changes to facilitate the realisation of identified benefits and to address associated risk. Support, and where relevant, deliver key communication and organisation assessment activities for the business.
  • Work collaboratively with all operational business groups to understand current and future state and to ensure business requirements are translated into documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business relationships and project delivery.
  • Identify and manage related issues and risks and provide updates on overall performance of the organisation design activities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations about the organisation design options, generating buy-in to the solution, ensuring organisational alignment to deliver business engagement and change readiness.

This role will:

Essential Qualifications

  • Prosci® Change Management certification or People Centred Implementation (PCI) certification or equivalent demonstrated experience in change management.

Essential Experience

  • Sound experience as a Change Analyst for change initiatives, such as delivering detailed change and business impact assessments, assessing a range of change intervention options and monitoring the progress of change programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of change management of enterprise wide IT rollouts within a large complex organisation and the implications on Target Operating Models.
  • Experience in creating and implementing detailed role impact assessments, capability assessments and organisation design options.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder engagement needs and business readiness assessments, providing change input, guidance and support to others and identifying potential issues and setbacks.
  • Strong analysis, planning and management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, engagement and relationship skills. 
  • Ability to execute to time and quality, juggling multiple priorities in an iterative/sprint driven environment.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills with ability to present and articulate using a variety of verbal, written and visual methods where appropriate to a diverse range of audiences.

Desirable / Preferred Experience

  • Experience in using ADKAR change management methodology and impact assessment tools.
  • Previous Salesforce/CRM experience highly desirable as it relates to organisation design, role impact and capability assessments.
