Job Description


Seeking a Web Content Manager with strong front end development capabilities, social media skills and an interest in Marketing! Amazing opportunity to work with a small, close-knit, passionate Marketing team in a highly successful, well-established organization. 

Primary Functions: 

 Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of social media, digital and online marketing initiatives to engage customers and partners, enhance brand awareness, and grow database of subscribers in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing. 

 Responsible for the content development and design of the company’s social media, digital and online channels, including websites (corporate and e-Commerce), online customer-facing tools and portals, and interactive campaigns that incorporate email, video and social media, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing.

 Responsible for alignment of websites (corporate and e-Commerce) to corporate and marketing objectives and initiatives. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 Develops, implements and coordinates innovative, effective and comprehensive social media strategies and programs in alignment with strategic marketing initiatives and company goals. 

 Creates, maintains and coordinates online content, including but not limited to photos, digital imagery, videos, copy and blog/conversation content using designated social media management tool for company’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, various blogs and other social media channels). 

 Is responsible for daily interaction, including but not limited to, posts, tweets, shares and likes, on all applicable social media channels. 

 Creates, maintains and coordinates all aspects of customer-only social network site (, including but not limited to, content (copy and imagery), user profiles, and requests. 

 Monitors and tracks the company’s online communities content and online channels daily, including but not limited to, social media responses, visitor/follower/member feedback and web/internet requests. 

 Is responsible for overall coordination of company’s email marketing campaigns, including development of email layout, proofing, scheduling, sending and analytic reporting using designated email marketing tool; works in conjunction with Graphic Designer and Marketing Communications Specialist to develop content and imagery consistent with goals and strategies for email communications. 

 Creates, updates, maintains, and is responsible for content for company’s corporate and e-Commerce websites, including but not limited to photos, digital imagery, videos and copy. 

 Develops, coordinates and implements features, upgrades or additions to company’s corporate and e-Commerce websites with assessment of organization and audience needs for continual improvements. 

 Measures performance and reports analytics of the company’s corporate and e-Commerce websites along with social media channels to the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing. 

Secondary Responsibilities: 

 Maintains the consistency of brand messaging across all web and social media platforms/channels. 

 Coordinates and implements websites optimization and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in support of lead generation. 

 Monitors, evaluates and makes recommendation on trends and techniques in social media tools and methodologies. 

 Assist in the development and design of convention and multi-media presentations combining still imagery, sound, text, video and animation of online, website and direct presentations. 

 Assists in the development and design of various marketing materials as requested by the Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing. 

Position Requirements 

 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, interactive media, visual communications, web development or related field, or equivalent work experience (2-3 years) in marketing, web design, or related field. 

 Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. 

 Solid knowledge of design and print production. 

 Ability to work on both Macintosh and PC computer operating systems. 

 Knowledge of web 2.0 technologies, including social media sites, blogs and RSS feeds. 

 Proficient with the following software: Flash, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, HTML/CSS code, iMovie (or other video editing software), Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point). 

 Experience with Google Ad Words. 

 Experience with open source CMS (Drupal) along with site security protocols and procedures. 

 Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work within a fast-paced environment. 

 Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
